We had a productive and informative meeting on April 8 and I want to thank everyone who participated. Captain Stephen Sweeny and Sergent Paul Deleo talked crime and safety, BTD Commissioner Greg Rooney fielded questions about crosswalks, metered parking and street conditions, we got an update from BHA’s Kathlyn Mcgonagle about upcoming renovations at 70 St Botolph, and were pleased to have Councilor Ed Flynn and Representative Jon Santiago join us as well. And, as always, if you have any questions about issues and items affecting our neighborhood, please reach out to me email@example.com and if you see a problem that needs the city’s attention, use 311!
What an interesting and fun evening! Our fabulous president, Joan had a packed agenda but still managed to squeeze in some fun trivia questions about the neighborhood. Here are the minutes of the meeting
Meanwhile, do you want to try your hand at some of the trivia questions?(Answers can be found on this website!)
Thanks to everyone who joined us for our virtual community meeting on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 with Northeastern University (NU). John Tobin, Vice President of City and Community Engagement at NU. He shared the plans for dealing with Covid 19 and fingers crossed, so far so good. We have been grateful for the responsiveness of everyone in the Northeastern Community to our concerns.
Go to the Northeastern University's website for comprehensive updates. Beginning October 26, 2020, they will be posting signage throughout the neighborhood to remind everyone about actions we can all do to keep everyone safe.

2020 ELECTION RESULTS FOR SBNA BOARD
Thank you to all who participated in the board election! Scott Mustard had been holding down the fort, serving as the entire board this past year and worked tirelessly to conduct the election via email and mail, as we were unable to hold our annual meeting due to Covid-19 restrictions. Thanks, Scott! He will continue to serve as a board member with the newly elected officers. When we are able to hold physical meetings again, we will have a vote to ratify the election results. So, please welcome your new board, as of April 1, 2020
