4.28.2020 Board Election Results

4/28/2020

We hope you are all well, practicing physical distancing, and finding unique ways to connect socially.
2020 ELECTION RESULTS FOR SBNA BOARD
Thank you to all who participated in the board election! Scott Mustard had been holding down the fort, serving as the entire board this past year and worked tirelessly to conduct the election via email and mail, as we were unable to hold our annual meeting due to Covid-19 restrictions. Thanks, Scott! He will continue to serve as a board member with the newly elected officers. When we are able to hold physical meetings again, we will have a vote to ratify the election results. So, please welcome your new board, as of April 1, 2020
President - Joan Carragher
Joan landed on W. Newton street 4 years ago, seeking the urban life for her and husband, Mike. Introduced to the SBNA at the summer BBQ, she started volunteering more and more until she woke up one day as president! She has worked in marketing, custom interior painting and the wine industry - she's currently a Wine Associate at Eataly.
Vice-President - Gisela Griffith
How many times have you heard "St. Botolph is such a beautiful street? "
Gisela has enjoyed living on St. Botolph for 18 years and as Vice President will work together with the board to keep our neighborhood clean and safe.
Treasurer - Lorraine Steele
Lorraine and her husband Lee have lived on Durham Street for over 35 years. She served on the SBNA Board in the early 90's as the Treasurer and then Vice-President.  Most recently, Lorraine was the Events Coordinator for the summer BBQs and the winter parties. They just sold their California vineyard after 11 years and she is looking forward to getting re-engaged with the Board as the new Treasurer.
Clerk - Kathie Enright
Kathie's introduction to SBNA was shivering on the corner of St. Botolph Street and West Newton as a volunteer for the Christmas wreath sales. Fortunately, the experience didn't chill her enthusiasm for the neighborhood, and this 10+ year resident of West Newton Street looks forward to serving the board as Clerk.
Board of Director - Claire Dargan
Dragged from San Francisco in 2000, Claire fell in love with St Botolph's eclectic vibe. Since 2002, She has swept its streets, helped with communications and shared many a laugh at countless events. She looks forward to stepping back in and joining an equally enthusiastic bunch of neighbors to help preserve this great neighborhood.
Board of Director - Adel Labib
With over 20 years as St. Botolph St. resident and long time admirer during the years prior to that at NU, Adel is humbly nestled in a corner unit that provides a unique perspective of the surroundings that changes daily. Adel enjoys the cohesiveness of this unique neighborhood drawing an array of residents to make it an amazing and special place to live, be involved and enjoy.
